Mr Garnett studied medicine in London at St Bartholomew’s Hospital & then went on to train in urology in Bristol, Edinburgh & Oxford. He undertook specialist Laparoscopic training in Germany. He has also trained in kidney transplant surgery. He has published research on bladder disorders, prostate cancer, and kidney disease. Mr Garnett's clinical interests include prostate disease, erectile dysfunction, bladder problems and surgery for kidney diseases. Mr Garnett specialises in Robotic Surgery & general urology. He performs robotic urological surgery of the kidney & prostate. He performed the first robotic prostatectomy in Sussex in 2015 & helped bring the UroLift procedure to East Sussex. He performed the first UroLift procedure at Spire Sussex Hospital in 2017.
