Mr Faiz Mumtaz is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Barnet and Chase Farm NHS Trust and Hon. Senior Lecturer at the University College London Medical School. He undertook higher urological training in London based at the Royal Free Hospital, The Institute of Urology and at various general district hospitals within the North Thames region. In addition to the general urological training, he has established over the last 5 years a specialist interest in minimally invasive urological surgery for renal, prostate and bladder diseases. He is an experienced laparoscopic renal surgeon; able to offer laparoscopic redical nephrectomy, pyeloplasty and percutaneous/ endoscopic stone surgery. He has a fellowship in laparoscopic urological surgery awarded by the European Institute of Telesurgey (Strasbourg). Mr Mumtaz is also an academic urologist with a team of three research fellows.
