I have been a consultant rheumatologist since 2003 and have a special interest in Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Soft tissue disorders, Connective tissue diseases, Osteoporosis and Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology. I am keen in Training and Teaching and have Chaired the Regional Training Committee since 2011. I am involved in many clinical trials of new treatments for arthritis. I perform all joint and soft tissue injections. I am the Osteoporosis Lead for our Department. Qualified from University of Madras in 1990 and completed postgraduate degree MD in Internal Medicine from University of Poona. Rheumatology higher specialist training in Wessex and Bath with a period of research in bone health and a stint in Paediatric Rheumatology. Consultant Rheumatologist at Cannock Chase Hospital since 2003 as part of a renowned multidisciplinary team.
