I graduated from the University of Glasgow where I obtained my MD Thesis in 1991. After a spell working as a Specialist Registrar and Clinical Research Fellow in Birmingham I returned to Scotland where I have been a Consultant Respiratory Physician at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh since 2001. I am the Respiratory Infection Lead and have a special interest in Bronchiectasis, Community Acquired Pneumonia and Tuberculosis. I work in Spire Shawfair Park's endoscopy suite which holds JAG accreditation.
