Ms Samantha Tross received her medical degree at University College London, before pursuing a career in surgery. Her surgical training was obtained at a number of London teaching hospitals which include St. Georges, The Royal London and Guy's & St Thomas hospitals. She also received fellowship training overseas at world renowned centres in Toronto and Sydney gaining further experience in primary and revision hip and knee replacement, computer assisted arthroplasty, hip resurfacing and knee arthroscopy. More recently, she has trained in hip arthroscopy. Ms Tross is an expert in minimally invasive hip surgery. This involves minimal soft tissue and muscle dissection and hence leads to less pain, less bleeding, faster rehabilitation and a smaller scar. She also has an interest in hip pain in young adults. Academically Miss Tross is Associate Editor of the Journal of Medical Case Reports and an examiner for Imperial Medical School finals.
