I studied medicine at Oriel College, Oxford and at St. George's Hospital, London, qualifying in 1997. I taught anatomy at Cambridge University and then went on to complete my orthopaedic training in London and the South West Thames region. I completed a sub specialist fellowship in Knee Surgery at the Wakefield Orthopaedic Centre in Adelaide, Australia, and Hand Surgery fellowship training at St. George's Hospital. I was appointed as Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon at Kingston Hospital in 2009 and operated at Kingston hospital and at the EOC at Epsom, specialising in hand and knee surgery. I am committed to improving patient care and have been the orthopaedic lead at Kingston for the National Hip Fracture Database and helped reduce time of fracture patients waiting to go to theatre as well as length of hospital stay. My hand practice covers the management of hand conditions such as Dupuytren's disease, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, tendonitis, thumb and finger arthritis, ganglions/cysts/swellings of the hand and wrist injuries.
