After my higher surgical training I was fortunate to gain two consecutive fellowship training programmes, one in the UK and the other in Austria sponsored by the AO Foundation in Switzerland (the largest orthopaedic trauma research body in the world). Since being appointed a consultant in 2003 I have a varied practice with a particular emphasis on upper limb conditions. I am the orthopaedic co-ordinator for Imperial College Medical Students and sit on the admissions panel for Imperial College as well.
