I undertook my medical and orthopaedic training in Liverpool before completing internationally recognised shoulder and elbow fellowships at Wrightington Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. There I developed my interests in arthroscopic (keyhole) and shoulder replacement surgery and developed significant experience in performing computer navigated shoulder replacement operations. I was appointed at Wirral University Teaching Hospital in 2019 with a specific interest in shoulder and elbow trauma and shoulder replacement surgery. Prior to this, I held a consultant position at Aintree University Hospital, where I was responsible for treating patients with major traumatic orthopaedic injuries of the upper and lower limbs, reconstructing complex fractures of the shoulder and elbow.
