Mr Robert Straw
Mr Straw was born in Derby and was a professional footballer at Derby County FC before beginning his career in medicine. He graduated from Leicester University in 1996 and did his orthopaedic training through Nottingham and Derby. Mr Straw undertook a fellowship in Sports Knee Surgery working for the renowned Mr Mark Clatworthy in New Zealand in 2006 treating many professional rugby players. He was then appointed as a Consultant Knee Surgeon at The Royal Derby Hospital in 2007 following a further knee fellowship with Mr Geutjens.
