Mr Rishi Chana is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in lower limb surgery and trauma reconstruction. Rishi qualified from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine and completed his postgraduate orthopaedic training in South East England. Mr Chana has completed 4 world renowned fellowships to super-specialise in his main interest of hip and knee replacement and revision surgery. He was awarded a one year fellowship at the Specialist Orthopaedic Group, Sydney working with Prof Bill Walter where he finessed skills in hip and knee replacement, revision surgery and hip arthroscopy. He then joined North Sydney Orthopaedic Sports and Medicine Centre with Prof Leo Pinczewski to hone his sports injury expertise, including knee arthroscopy. His Post-CCT fellowship was at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, which provided one year’s experience in complex revision reconstruction surgery of the hip and knee. He then joined Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals as senior lower limb fellow, which included foot and ankle surgery. Mr Chana's main interests lie in hip and knee primary and revision surgery as well as hip and knee arthroscopy and foot and ankle surgery. He also offers a service of specialist enhanced recovery surgery and rehabilitation to suit each individual patient’s needs to ensure they have the best results. In 2014, Mr Chana joined Surrey Orthopaedic Clinic, a specialist orthopaedic and sports surgery group offering a complete package of high quality musculoskeletal care. He practices at the BMI The Runnymede Hospital in Chertsey, BMI Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor, and BMI Chiltern and Shelburne hospitals in Buckinghamshire.
