Mr Paul Partington is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in hip and knee surgery; he has been based at the Northumbria NHS Trust since 1998. He trained in orthopaedic surgery in the Northern Deanery Registrar Rotation based in Newcastle, and undertook a one year hip and knee joint replacement and revision arthroplasty fellowshp in Ontario, Canada. His interests lie in hip replacement and revision hip replacement surgery, knee replacement and knee revision surgery, knee arthroscopy, hip arthroscopy and hip replacement surgery. Mr Partington is also a teacher on primary and revision hip courses both nationally and abroad.
