My undergraduate training was in London(MBBS 1980) and achieved FRCS (Edin 1985). I then trained in Orthopaedic surgery as registrar in Bristol 1985-1989 and as Senior Registrar in Exeter 1989-1992. Mr Fordyce undertakes research interest studies and his work on hip resurfacing has been presented and published worldwide. He performs approximately 990 operations a year.
