I was trained in Dublin, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Vancouver and appointed as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in 1994 to the Royal Infirmary and Princess Margaret Rose Hospitals in Edinburgh. My main clinical interests are in the management of knee injuries and sports injuries in general. I run the knee clinic at the Royal Infirmary which deals with a large number of patients with knee problems, but principally has an emphasis on the management of acute knee injuries in sports. My Spire Murrayfield practice reflects this pattern but I also deal with general orthopaedic referrals.
