Jeremy Field is a consultant orthopaedic and hand surgeon who trained in Bristol. He learned most of his hand surgery techniques in Sydney, Australia where he worked for Tim Herbert (of Herbert Screw fame) and has significant experience in scaphoid fractures. He has a strong academic and research interest, having a Master of Surgery degree with a thesis of complex regional pain syndrome type 1. He teaches the AO hand fracture fixation course. He also examines on the FRCS exam and he teaches Orthopaedic Surgeons how to teach.
