Mr George Verghese is a consultant orthopaedic and spinal surgeon practising in North London. After qualifying at the Armed Forces’ Medical College in India, Mr Verghese trained widely in orthopaedics and gained considerable specialist expertise in spinal surgery, which forms the majority of his orthopaedic practice. Mr Verghese also retains a keen interest in trauma surgery and is active on the faculty of the AO Foundation. He is a member of the British Association of Spinal Surgeons and an orthopaedic trainer with London Deanery. The spinal treatments he offers include discectomy, spinal decompression, kyphoplasty, dynamic spinal stabilisation, fusion and spinal injections. Mr Verghese also provides a hip and knee replacement service and consults regarding the management of complex musculo-skeletal trauma.
