I completed a British Orthopaedic Association Trauma Fellowship and Royal College of Surgeons of England Approved Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship at James Cook University Hospital. I gained vast experience managing complex orthopaedic trauma, shoulder and elbow surgery including arthroscopic and arthroplasty techniques. I perform the majority of these procedures under local anaesthetic only meaning a general anaesthetic is to required. I am a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society, British Orthopaedic Association, and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and British Medical Association. I am continually involved in teaching and training of doctors, orthopaedic surgeons and allied healthcare professionals. I organise courses on shoulder arthroscopy and teach regularly on national and regional courses.
