I also undertook full time research (2004/5) at Imperial College London under the supervision of Prof. A.A. Amis studying the anatomy of the ACL and PCL of the knee including publishing papers on the attachments of the bundles of the ACL and PCL and designing a prototype tibial ACL guide. I have a postgraduate diploma in sports and exercise medicine from the University of Bath (2001). I was awarded an MS degree at the University of London 2011, for my thesis on ACL. In May 2010 I was appointed as a substantive Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Goole Hospital (part of the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) and subsequently Orthopaedic Lead Surgeon. At Goole I will develop the lower limb service to include being a centre for computer navigation in knee surgery and developing ACL reconstruction and meniscal repair at our hospital.
