Tanaya Sarkhel qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School and following junior posts in Surrey and Sussex joined the St George's Hospital Orthopaedic training programme. This has been complemented by two subspecialty Fellowships, at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby and at the Epsom Shoulder Unit. Fifteen months as a locum Consultant at Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has consolidated this experience and now she has been recently appointed to a substantive post at Ashford and St Peter's NHS Trust. In 2011 Miss Sarkhel joined Surrey Orthopaedic Clinic, a specialist orthopaedic and sports surgery group providing a complete package of high quality musculoskeletal care. The Surrey Orthopaedic Clinic is a multidisciplinary collective of professionals practicing out of BMI The Runnymede Hospital and other private hospitals.
