Jill qualified from St Andrews & Manchester Universities and developed an early sub specialist interest in knee surgery. Following general trauma and orthopaedic surgical training in the Mersey region, Jill has completed fellowships in Liverpool, Glasgow and finally Wrightington Hospital developing in-depth knowledge and expert skills in sports and reconstructive knee surgery. Jill always wanted to come back to the area she grew up in and was delighted to be appointed as a Consultant Knee & Trauma Surgeon in Salford Royal Major Trauma Centre. As a result of managing severe and complex knee fractures and sports injuries Jill has developed a specialised comprehensive knee practice to address any form of knee pain, degeneration or injury.
