I am a consultant ophthalmologist since 2008 working in the NHS and have special interest in complex glaucoma and cataract surgery and management of combined cataract and glaucoma. I have very keen interest in teaching and research and have close links with the Aston university. I was the college tutor for ophthalmology for the trust and the Quality assurance lead for the West midland deanery until 2016. I am the clinical service lead for ophthalmology for the Heartlands, solihull and goodhope hospitals part of the University Hospital Birmingahm. I specialise in surgical and laser treatment of glaucoma and spectacle independence after cataract surgery.
