Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim is a highly qualified consultant neurosurgeon with a specialist interest in treating spinal conditions through keyhole surgery. Mr Ibrahim has a busy NHS practice at Queen's Hospital primarily caring for spinal patients. Mr Ibrahim completed medical training at St Bartholomew's and The Royal London and went on to train in neurosurgery and spine in London. He completed a spinal fellowship in Toronto Canada and a traveling fellowship to the USA and Canada. Mr Ibrahim has been awarded numerous prestigious prizes including the Congress of neurological surgeons/American Association of Neurological Surgeons 2013 Crockard award for best international spinal fellow, best resident/fellow paper by the North American Cervical Spine Research Society in 2013/4. Mr Ibrahim won scholarships from Royal College of England and HCA. In recognition of his achievements Mr Ibrahim was recently selected to represent Europe as part of a group of 6 global traveling spinal fellows to visit premier spinal centres in USA and Canada. Mr Ibrahim has a keen interest in spinal research and holds a PhD in nerve regeneration and repair.
