Dr Vaclav Dostal graduated in medicine at the University of Olomouc, Czech Republic in 1995 and undertook postgraduate and speciality training in the Czech Republic. Parkinson's disease, movement disorders and neurodegenerative conditions have been his main interests during his career. He established a movement disorder and memory clinic in his previous hospital in the Czech Republic and was also a trials principal investigator in many clinical trials. Recently Dr Dostal has worked as a consultant neurologist at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, where he runs movement disorder, botulinum toxin and general neurology clinics. He participates in research of Parkinson's and is also a lecturer at the University of Eastern Anglia.
