After qualifying from St Mary's Hospital Medical School, London, I trained, initially, in general surgery and then general obstetrics and gynaecology, first in Nottingham and then in Birmingham. I spent two years in Nottingham researching the use of a monoclonal antibody in ovarian cancer. I then went on to Birmingham, where I completed two years sub-speciality training in gynaecological oncology. I currently practice in general gynaecology and specialise in gynaecological oncology and colposcopy.
