I am a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, graduated from the Royal College of surgeons in Dublin (1988), having worked and gained experience as a Demonstrator in Physiology department at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin in 1989, I trained and was accredited as a General Practitioner (MRCGP) in 1993. I trained in obstetrics and gynaecology in Belfast and North West England, obtaining my MRCOG in 1996. I was appointed as Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2002. I was granted fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and gynaecologists in 2010. I was the Clinical Director of Women’s Heath at the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from 1st May 2005 until 31 December 2010. I was the clinical lead for fertility services at the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In addition I have extensive experience in general obstetrics and gynaecology, menstrual disorders and primary surgical treatment for pelvic floor prolapse. I also have an interest in various aspects of endocrinological gynaecology. I was involved in the teaching and examinations of medical students of the University of Manchester. I am a fellow of Royal College of Obstetrician & Gynaecologists, a member Royal College of General Practitioners, British Fertility Society, British Medical Association and Preston Medico-ethical Society. I am now practising as an independent Gynaecologist practicing at Ramsay Fulwood Hall Hospital, Ramsay Euxton Hall Hospital, Spire Fylde Coast Hospital, BMI Lancaster Hospital and Greater Lancashire Hospital.
