Mr Angus Thomson has worked as a Consultant Gynaecologist in Worcestershire since 2005. Although he sees women for all aspects of Benign Gynaecology his main interests and expertise lie in the fields of Urogynaecology and Minimal Access Surgery (Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy). Having trained in the North West, Mr Thomson completed his training with a two year fellowship in The Royal Hospital for Women, Sydney, Australia before taking up his Consultant position in Worcestershire. He has published research papers and given national and international presentations in the fields of female incontinence, prolapse surgery, laparoscopic surgery and the hysteroscopic treatment of Asherman’s syndrome (uterine scarring). He continues to provide training and run courses for laparoscopic hysterectomy. With his special interest in Urogynaecology he also performs Urodynamic investigations and offers a range of treatments for the management of urinary incontinence.
