Mr Ah-See qualified from Aberdeen University. His initial surgical training took place in Glasgow and this period also included research into Head and Neck Cancer at the Beatson Institute, Glasgow. This led to the award of an MD from Aberdeen University. Mr Ah-See’s specialist ENT training took place in Glasgow, Edinburgh and included a 1 year Fellowship post in Head and Neck surgery in Rotterdam ,Holland. He was appointed Consultant ENT Surgeon at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the Royal Aberdeen Childrens Hospital in 2000. He is an Intercollegiate ENT Examiner for the College of Surgeons. Mr Ah-See is the Educational and Research Convener for the Scottish Otolaryngological Society, and is the Regional training and research advisor for ENT trainees in Aberdeen. He was appointed Director of Undergraduate Medical Teaching at Aberdeen University in 2008, and is experienced in all aspects of general ENT surgery with particular experience in specialty treatment of Head and Neck conditions, including allergy, voice and swallowing problems.
