Education:

Dr Arucha Ekeowa-Anderson qualified in medicine from Guy's & St Thomas' Hospitals in 1997. Following membership of the Royal College of Physicians of London in 2000, she trained in Dermatology at Amersham, Oxford, Hammersmith, Royal London & Royal Free hospitals. She developed an interest in vulval dermatology and has presented research work in this field nationally and internationally. Dr Ekeowa-Anderson was the fellow in genital dermatology at Chelsea & Westminster NHS trust - assessing and treating male and female patients. She was appointed a consultant dermatologist at Barts Health NHS Trust in 2010 where she treats the full range of skin diseases in adults and children and performs dermatological surgery. As Honorary Consultant Dermatologist in Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust she has led the Vulval Service; working closely with gynaeoncologists, genitourinary medicine physicians, and women’s health physiotherapists. Dr Ekeowa-Anderson has regular teaching commitments in dermatology and oversees dermatology specialist training in the North East Thames region.
