Dr Mike Dubowicz was appointed consultant at the East & North Herts NHS trust in August 2001. In April 2002 he became lead clinician in cardiology, and the following year was appointed clinical director, a post he held for 6 years. He has established rapid access chest pain clinics over the East and North East sites, as well as local angiography services. Dr Dubowicz is happy to see referrals across the spectrum of cardiac disease including palpitations, arrhythmias, resistant hypertension, ischaemic and valvular heart disease, and the management of heart failure. His main clinical and research interest is in management and prevention of coronary disease.
