Dr Kiran Patel graduated from Cambridge University in 1993 and trained in cardiology in Bristol and Birmingham. He was appointed to his first consultant post at Sandwell and West Birmingham Trust in 2005 and moved to Heart of England NHS Trust (Good Hope Hospital) in Sutton Coldfield in 2013. His main interests are heart failure, pacing (including pacing for heart failure) - he has performed over 1000 pacemaker implants, imaging and cardiovascular risk and prevention.
