Dr Pantazis has many years of experience working within the field of cardiomyopathies. He was first appointed as a consultant cardiologist at the Heart Hospital, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH), in 2007, and then went on to work as a consultant cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, in May 2015. He was also the leading cardiologist at UCLH’s neuromuscular complex care centre (NMCCC) in the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. In his previous positions, he has also implemented dedicated clinics for: • arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy (ARVC) • cardio-neuromuscular • cardiac sarcoidosis. He was also the leading cardiologist for the interventional and surgical programmes for the management of left-ventricular outflow tract obstruction (LVOTO) in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
