Dr Archbold qualified from The London Hospital Medical College where he was awarded prizes in basic clinical sciences, clinical medicine, and clinical surgery. He was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at The London Chest Hospital (Barts Health NHS Trust) in 2004. He is the Lead Cardiologist for the North East London Cardiac Network and a member of various clinical expert and advisory groups. Dr Archbold manages patients with all types of cardiovascular problem including chest pain, breathlessness, palpitation, and high blood pressure. He performs coronary angiography and coronary stent procedures and he has an interest in the pre-operative assessment of patients who are scheduled to undergo non-cardiac surgery (for example knee or hip replacement, prostate, or vascular surgery).
